A picture of something you're afraid of

I really do hate spiders. Last summer we had a black/yellow garden spider in front of the house--right by the door. It got so big! But it became Dad's pet because of the bugs it would eat. I saw it eat a grasshopper. I guess as long as they don't come near me I am okay, but YUCK! Even looking for images made my skin crawl!

A picture of yourself and a family member

At last! A post about my dear brother! Growing up he was Andy. In college he became Drew. It took me awhile to adjust. One of my first memories of him....he was going to school and I didn't get to go too. I ran around the house trying to kiss him and he wouldn't let me catch him! Shame!
I remember writing him on mission that was nice. It wasn't until I went to college and he lived close again that we became friends.
I love playing games with him. The ultimate gamer! Well.... I do not enjoy learning to play games with him. Sometimes it is like "Calvinball". I swear he makes the rules count when I do something wrong...never him! LOL.
I like that he works at a library so he can pass along advance reader copies of books :-)
He would be an even Better brother if he would come down for Thanksgiving/his birthday!!! HINT HINT!
Love you Drew!

A picture of something that means a lot to you

Almost 11 years ago I received my endowments in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. It was a special day. My whole family was there with me. Mom was my escort. I was with several other girls that day, but they were there because they were getting married. I was there because it was the right time for me. Sadly I have no idea where the pictures of that day are. Since then I have LOVED going to the temple. I can go and feel such peace. I come away feeling so grounded in such a crazy world. I am so grateful to have since lived close to a temple.I LOVE the Temple!!!

This is because of the holiday tomorrow, but I also love my country. I feel blessed to have had a grandfather and father who have served in the military. I know I am blessed to live in this promised land. So grateful for men and women who keep me safe.
