It took me 15.5 hours to get there... a LONG drive. Thankfully I had some books on cd to keep me awake... and lots of snacks. I woke up at 2 AM with a charlie horse...so I decided to just get up. I was on the road by 2:50.
I got to meet my new Stepmother, Sharon. It was good to finally meet her. She had been married to my Dad for 7 weeks by then!

The fields were amazing. Such a lovely drive. So glad we could see them!!! Totally made the trip!
I got to see friends. I love catching up with friends--right where we left off. I got to eat yummy food... it was a good trip. I need to not let it be another year and half before I get out there!!
